Originally, from Trinidad, Tricia completed a triple major in her undergraduate studies at the University of Buffalo in the USA. She then received a scholarship in 1994 for Nova Southeastern University, in Florida, where she received her MBA, concentrating on Finance and Organisational Behaviour, graduating with honours.
Tricia went on to work for Sunrise Assisted Living in Florida and subsequently throughout the USA, simultaneously obtaining her Health Care Administrator’s Licence. Following this she moved to Antigua and undertook the role; Director of Finance and Administration for the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority. During this time Tricia was part of a team who achieved Category One Status for the CAA, while working on MIF funded projects for aviation security after 9/11. Concurrently, she worked as a Director for KdK Publications and Karobe Distributors in Antigua.
In 2008 Tricia joined Wellness International at adidas (UK). Her passion for healthcare continued and she was committed to making “Wellness” a household name. Because of her background in Organisational Behaviour, Tricia knew the importance of corporate wellness and continues to be devoted to working with companies, sharing her enthusiasm and experience in making this part of every company’s business practice. Tricia stands proudly alongside the company’s ethos “placing you at the heart.” In Tricia’s words: ‘It’s all about becoming a healthier you!’
Dr Dorian Dugmore (PhD Cardiovascular Medicine) is a world leader in cardiovascular health and wellness. In 1997 he pioneered a new concept in preventative medicine and wellness at adidas (UK) headquarters in Stockport. His programmes have won World And European Best Practice awards for corporate wellness.
Dorian has been working in cardiovascular medicine and wellness for 30 years and has written extensively on health, exercise and heart disease. His doctoral research conducted within the U.K specialised in cardiovascular medicine and focused on the rehabilitation of post heart attack patients.
Dorian served for a number of years on the National Coronary Prevention Group panel for cardiac rehabilitation in the UK and was a prime mover in the formulation of both the British and European Associations of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation. In addition to this he is the Vice-President of the international organisation ‘Heart Friends Around The World’. Dorian has earned numerous awards for his work, including an MEB “Heart of Britain Award”, recognising his contribution towards improving quality of life within the community.To date, he has successfully completed 23 full marathons, including chaperoning the then Minister for Sport, Richard Caborn in the 2005 London Marathon.
